IT Support Technician

Reports To: Lead, Infrastructure Team

Background

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of an organization's information technology systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting end-users with their IT-related needs.

Job Description

    • Provide technical support to end-users via telephone, Text, and email.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
    • Escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
    • Provide excellent customer service.
    • Document technical issues and resolutions
    • Maintain accurate records of all support requests.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development.

Experience

    • Excellent Command of English, extremely affable and friendly
    • Degree or Certificate in Computer Science or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
    • Excellent communication skills and Strong problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
    • Knowledge of Apple Operating Systems and related Applications
    • Knowledge of Google Workspace application.
    • Experience with remote desktop support tools.
